Who Are We?

We are a small, family-owned craft coffee roasting company, focusing on small-batch, medium-to-light roasted coffees. Our aim is to fill a niche in our local community for high-quality light roasts. We have been slowing building our brand by word of mouth in our little hometown, offering coffee for pickup at a few locations. We constantly work at improving and growing, because - in that regard - coffee roasting is a lot like life!

Why Coffee Roasting? |

The growth in the coffee world is explosive right now; small coffee roasters are popping up everywhere. Public awareness of what coffee can be expands by the hour and the market will only get more competitive in the years to come.
So why jump in now? Well for one, I (Stephen) love to build new skills and expand my knowledgebase. Coffee roasting provides the perfect opportunity to do just that. Second - and more importantly - in today's culture, coffee is a point of connection that opens doors to conversation. A unique cup of coffee can be the starting point for an ongoing conversation between two (or more) people who might otherwise feel that cultural or political divides discourage any exchange of ideas. This is at the heart of my interest in coffee: relationship. Any tool that can be leveraged for the good of relationships in society is going to get my attention. We aim to provide coffee that can be enjoyed while conversing, growing, and laughing together in a world that desperately needs human connection. |

What can you expect from us? |

Our primary goal - when it comes to roasting style - is offering well developed, lightly roasted high quality coffees. But we also want to offer a range of roast styles that many different people can enjoy. With this in mind, our offerings include a variety of coffees at different places on the spectrum of roast level. The goal is roasting each coffee in a way that best suits its inherent qualities. It is NOT our business model to develop blends and roasts that hang around for decades. Instead, we work to find interesting new coffees and offer our customers a wide range of coffee experiences, while doing our best to always keep at least one coffee on hand for each crowd of coffee drinkers, from the darker, caramelly roasts, to the lightly roasted sparkling fruit bombs.
